Pompeii Ruins
Caught the local train from naples down to Pompeii and spent the day wandering around the site of Pompeii. It was good to see the streets, theatre, bakery, houses, basilica, forum, and fast food outlets that have been unearthed there. The weather was nice that day which made it easier (not a lot of shade at the site). The ruins cover a huge area so we ony saw a fraction of it but the kids had no interest at looking at any more so we headed home in the early afternoon.
