Spent two nights at Lake Tahoe - due to lack of availability of accomodation, we ended up at Tahoe City - not the prettiest part of the lake unfortunately and had a Jindabyne vibe. If I was to visit again, it would be else where on the lake.
It was nice to chill out for a day and explore with no set activities. The water was really clear but the beach was not inviting. The views over the lake however were amazing!

We stayed at Granlibakken Lodge in a studio style apartment which was nice.

The tooth fairy managed to find us in Tahoe after a lost tooth - there is still another one loose baby tooth hanging on so she will likely have to find us again soon.
Tahoe Bakery was amazing - freshly baked every morning, good coffee and well priced! We also found a great playground over looking the lake.
